Shameful Harper=Even All Sun's Columnists Disdainful!

Harris & Margolis, OK. But Weston, Den Tandt & Worthington! Worthington! Really no choice, given just how shameful HarperCons are: Feds and army brass deepened detainee crisis: transcripts As strange unCanadian French-dictator-like Harper destroys the fabric of Canadian democracy daily, one becomes almost dangerously inured: another inquiry shut down? Another public servant fired or intimidated? Well, what do you expect? But we need to remember just how recent, how terrible, how wrong, how UNCANADIAN, how FOREIGN, such behaviour is. We must never lose our outrage. We must hold himself and ourselves to our traditional standards. Dief would have absolutely despised the tool, and eaten him for breakfast. Say what you want about the Old Chief, he was a real Canadian, and loved and respected Parliament. Harper? Louis Napoleon was a bad joke, and Harper's a bad farce of a bad farce. If Donolo & the OLO are now halfway competent, and I think they are, he will go.

And in my bones I feel Harper is going down. I don't know, not rational, I just have a sense that these last weeks, and this coming prorogation, will become the forgotten turning point. When it happens, everyone's going to talk about the campaign and post-campaign tactics, etc., but these were the weeks that started the process, I think, or rather feel, in my bones. I know Canada and Canada is not Harperism, and these weeks have finally made even the slowest learners understand Harper's alien & despicable nature. He's not one of us, and never will be. He and his government are the Sean Averys of politics, all hat, no cattle. Dirty, cheap, low, mean loudmouths, anti-code, anti-hockey, who turtle & rag doll whenever someone tries to make them answer for their shit. These weeks have broken the last links, or started the breaking, of the last links between Harper & Canadians. From here on in, he will always be playing defence in trying to hold on to his plurality. And bit by bit, day by day, little by little, in increments so small one almost doesn't notice, the plurality is going to fade, until it's not a plurality anymore. So let me be the first to send him on his way: Bye Bye Loser - na na na na, na na na na, hey hey hey, goodbye.
