Malaysian Humanitarian Group " Kelab Boytra 1" Arrived to Gaza

PalestineFreeVoice GAZA - A Malaysian medical team arrived in Gaza on Monday  evening, the visit is organized by the group " Kelab  Boytra 1".

The first group comprising of five members, departed for Cairo on Aug 3, was followed by a second group of 28 people, two days ago.

The mission is being carried out with the cooperation of the Malaysian Foreign Ministry, the Malaysian Ambassador to Egypt, the Palestine Red Crescent Society and former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, who is the chairman of the Perdana Global Peace Organisation (PGPO).

The team of doctors and directors followed by some journalist includes all in all 67 volunteers. The Malaysian team will spend two weeks in Gaza, to deliver humanitarian service, which included prophylactic preventive care such as vaccination and therapeutic remedies and surgeries.

“The delegation includes a medical team of 10 Malaysians, 10 Indians and ten Chinese, coming from different specialties and hospitals to the hospitals in the Gaza Strip,including Al-Qudes Hospital,”said Datuk Abdul Rahim Abdul Aziz,the director and leader of the convoy.

Thirty out of 173 doctors have been chosen to volunteer for the humanitarian mission to Gaza, which people are bleeding from many serious wounds, struggling to survive. The Malaysian team will allocate food, clothing and medical aid to some two thousand needy families in seven villages and medical aid to five Gaza hospitals.
