In less than 24 hours, the Council of "EUTELSAT "French broadcasting has made the decision to stop broadcasting Al-Aqsa TV in Gaza City. Moon "Nour Sat", the host of the channel will stop the broadcast via satellite after 48 hours from the date of this decision. We the employed at the Al-Aqsa TV satellite believe this decision has no relevance or legal justification, not based on the Law of satellite broadcasting,the laws of public freedom and the laws of International journalistic work.We find the decision to stop our broadcasting,a subject to respond to the needs of Israeli and American to coceal the truth and suppress public freedoms.
In the face of this flagrant abuse, we call upon the Council of Arab Information Ministers to hold emergency meeting and take the legal moves to ensure journalistic freedom of Arab media institutions.after repeat this step.We call news media and - international human rights organizations, as well as the media institutions to reconsider the politics of Western interference in the freedom of the Arab press and the repeated violations of the sovereignty of Arab media including Al-Aqsa TV. We will not be another victim.
We in the Al-Aqsa TV hold the French government responsible for the adoption of this resolution and it's consequences thereof. In response we call on them to respect and cohere to international and humanitarian laws which ensure the freedom of opinion and expression. We also emphasize to our viewers and those who love us that we will not fail to convey our message to you. We will continue to expose the practices of the occupation we will remain the voice of freedom and keep our eyes on our country Palestine.
