Attaran Nails It. I strenuously disagree re. going to court, along with Lee, as Attaran himself says, there is quite simply no issue. It would just slow down process, as Govt wants. Some cowed folk may fear that only (a) judge(s) can give legitimacy in eyes of public, but that is precisely why it's wrong:1) If Parliament Supreme, then mere fact of asking makes it inferior
2) If Judge actually bothered to reconfirm supremacy it means Parliament submitting to Judge's ruling - Govt of judges, not citizens
3) A cowardly vacuous strategy driven by PR considerations will be seen as such and undermine Parliament's best ally, the truth, its legitimacy, its rightness and its courage, clear for all to see.
Stand Up For Parliament!
