Palestinian writer and journalist Khalid Amayreh has been summoned to the Preventive Security Apparatus in al-Khalil (Hebron) for interrogation.
Amayreh, widely-viewed as a non-conformist journalist, has been an outspoken critic of Israeli occupation terror and criminality against the Palestinian people as well as Palestinian Authority (PA) repressive tactics against its own citizens.
Amayreh has been detained several times by the various PA security and intelligence agencies, largely for saying or writing things deemed nonconformist and harmful.
It is not clear yet why Amayreh has been summoned for interrogation or if he will be detained.
