On Monday afternoon at 1:49 PM sharp, a cell of Mujahideen in Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine, claimed responsibility for the bombing of an explosive device near a Israeli terrorist holdout, close to the Bawabet As-Sarig gate. The Israeli Zionist - terrorist group trespassed Palestinian land into the eastern part of Khan Younis, in the southern Gaza Strip
A statement issued by Al-Quds Brigades said that; " We declare our responsibility for this action in Jihad, to assure the right of the Palestinian resistance to respond in retaliation to any Zionist aggression against our people.We confirm to use our rights to proceed with the option of Jihad and resistance until the entire Palestinian territory is liberated."
Israeli armed perpetrators said it intercepted the "planned attack" and opened fire, adding that three members of the Palestinian resistance were rescued by it's combatants. However the Al-Quds Brigade claim that no injuries are reported, asserting that it's armed wing has " the right to fight against the Zionist occupation of Palestinian lands."
